Modern Love: The Michael Schiavo Story
Tonight Michael Schiavo's lawyer said that he (Terri's "husband") really loves his wife.
Let's see. He wants her dead. He won't let her parents take care of her. He lives with another woman. He's had children by her. How can that be considered love? Think like a lawyer. Think like a lawyer...
I've got it!!! He obviously doesn't love her like he would a wife or his new girlfriend or his new kids. Or, heck, even a stinking dog! Maybe he loves Terri like he loves vegetables! Get it? Terri is in that unhuman "vegetative state," and he loves her.
He loves vegetables. It all makes sense now!
He may love vegetables, but he sure doesn't love his wife.

The comments made in the "Modern Love" are unfair and very cold. We should first try to understand that Terri had no hope, save the intervention of our lord, to ever regain any life that we could call normal. a very large portion of Teri's brain was destroyed.
Yes, medicine today could have kept her alive, but to what end.
For whom were we going to keep Terri alive for? her parents? the American public?
I hope that if ever i am caught in the same horrible predicament that my family will turn me over to the hands of GOD rather than keeping me alive to ease someone elses pain.
I pray for Terri Schiavo.
I pray for Terri's husband and Parents.
I also pray that the hearts of all Christians and believers in GOD will be a bit more forgiving and understanding.
